Root canal & endodontic treatments

Every treatment plan starts with an exam and X-ray, so you only get what your tooth actually needs.

Root canal treatment

Removing the inflamed nerve, then cleaning, disinfecting and sealing the canals to keep your natural tooth instead of extracting it.

Root canal retreatment

For a previously treated tooth where pain or infection has returned. The canals are reopened and cleaned again.

Emergency tooth pain

Relieving acute pain and inflammation in the same visit where possible, then completing treatment.

Cracked & injured teeth

Assessing teeth damaged by accidents or fractures, with nerve treatment when it's needed.

Tooth abscess treatment

Treating infection at the root of the tooth that causes swelling and pain.

Crown after root canal

Coordinated with our in-house prosthodontics team to protect the treated tooth and restore its shape and function.

Dental microscope technology

Root canal treatment under the microscope

Dr. Maher Daod uses the Bondent G4 Pro dental microscope, which magnifies and lights up the treatment area so the finest details of the tooth and its root canals are clearly visible.

Magnified, clearer view

A variable zoom lens and focused light help the doctor see fine, narrow canals.

Keeps more healthy tooth

Fluorescence mode helps show decay margins so more healthy tooth structure can be preserved.

Built-in 4K camera

High-definition photos and video of each treatment step.

See your own tooth

Your doctor can show you before and after images and explain what was done.

Common questions

Does a root canal hurt?

Treatment is done under local anaesthesia, and most patients feel pressure rather than pain. Some mild discomfort for a few days afterwards is normal, and your doctor will explain how to manage it.

Why use a microscope for root canal treatment?

Root canals are very narrow, and some are hard to see with the naked eye. Magnification and focused light help the doctor see fine details and work more precisely.

How many visits does it take?

It depends on the tooth, the number of canals and whether there is infection. Some cases are finished in one visit, others need more. Your doctor confirms this after the exam.

Will I need a crown afterwards?

Back teeth often need a crown to protect them from breaking. Your doctor decides based on how much of the tooth remains.

Is extraction better than a root canal?

Keeping your natural tooth is the preferred option when it's possible, because an extracted tooth usually needs replacing later. Your doctor will go through the options for your case.

Does insurance cover root canal treatment?

We work with Daman, ADNIC, NextCare, Almadallah, NAS and Oman Insurance. Cover depends on your policy, and our team can help you check it.

Is the consultation really free?

Yes, the doctor consultation is free. Send us a WhatsApp message to book.
